Pioneers of the Sarrasin family

Antoine Sarrazin was born around 1717 in St-Pierre, Saintonge, Charente-Maritime, France. Son of Jean Sarrazin and Jeanne Proteau, he married Agnes Laframboise, daughter of Louis- Lucas and Marie-Anne-Agnes Bruneau, November 26, 1738 in Quebec City. From this union were born two children. Arrived in the country before 1 September 1735, when he was mentioned in a list of patients at Hôtel-Dieu de Québec, he settled down in Quebec. The date of his death, which occurred before 14 September 1772, remains unknown.
