Julien Fortin was baptized on February 9, 1621 in Saint-Cosme-en-Varais, Sarthe, France. Son of Julien and Marie Lavie, he married Geneviève Gamache, daughter of Nicolas and Jacqueline Cadot, on November 11, 1652 in Cap Tourmente. They had 12 children. He settled in Ste-Anne-du-Petit-Cap in 1650 and seven years later, 1657, he partly became seigneur de la Côte-de-Beaupré et de l'Ile d'Orléans. In 1681, he owned 2 rifles, 16 heads of cattle and 20 acres of land. Man of means, generous and very devout, he is the benefactor of Sainte-Anne-du-Petit-Cap and Château-Richer churches. The date of his death is unknown. However, it is estimated circa 1689.

Louis Fortin-Lagrandeur was born circa 1638 in Écardenville-sur-Eure, Eure, France. Son of Philippe Fortin, a grape grower, and Agnès Londin, he married Catherine Chatillon-Godin, daughter of Pierre and Jeanne Rousselière. From this union were born 6 children. In 1665, he was a soldier in the compagnie sieur Lafredière, régiment de Carignan-Salières when he came to New France on the ship La Paix. In 1667, he lived near Sault-Saint-Louis before he settled in Lachine in 1670. In 1681, he owned 2 heads of cattle and 12 acres of land. He died of a pleuritis on October 5, 1687 and was buried the next day in Lachine.

François Fortin-Rosière was baptized on April 25, 1635 in Dieppe, Seine-Maritime, France. Son of François Fortin and Catherine Collemont, he married Marie Jolliet, daughter of Jean and Marie d'Abancourt, on April 6, 1660 in Quebec. From this union was born a daughter. She was born in France. He came here as a surgeon in 1657 and had lived in Côte de Beaupré area. In 1666, sick, he went back to France with his wife. He briefly came back for business. A widow, he entrusts his daughter to Bishop de Laval. He had brough her to New France where she got married on April 30, 1688. François Fortin-Rosière died after his daughter wedding. The date remains unknown.

François-Xavier Fortin-Plermel was baptised on August 20, 1645 in Ploërmel, Morbihan, France. Son of Marc Fortin and Françoise Guyot-Derves, he married Louise Soumillard, daughter of Orson and Marie Bourgeois, on July 9, 1674 in Montreal. From this union were born 8 children. In 1671, he came to New France as a shoemaker and in 1672, he settled in Saint-Sulpice on Côte de Rivière-des-Prairies. In 1681, he owned 1 rifle, 3 heads of cattle and 12 acres of land. In 1688, he was granted the right to collect, for 10 months only, the poll tax and the rents of Pointe-aux-Trembles and Rivière-des-Praires. He died on July 25, 1690 in Montreal.
